Constitution and Bylaws

The Carleton Student Association Constitution establishes the means by which the students at Carleton are able to govern themselves. It determines the mission of the CSA, as well as the general principles under which it operates. The document is available as a PDF on the right.

The bottom Constitution at right is the constitution that was approved by Senate and will be on the ballot starting on May 14th.

The CSA Senate Bylaws establish the rules of operation for the Senate. They discuss senate procedure, general meetings, financial regulations, chartered organizations, committees, and elections. This document determines the day-to-day and the term-to-term operation of the Senate. The full text is available in PDF form on the right.
