CSA Senate votes to endorse Retention Rates Resolution

The CSA has instituted new Officer Hours.  Come voice your opinions and get to know your CSA Officers in the Senate Office (Sayles 161)!

• Wednesdays 9-10pm
• Thursdays 8-9pm 

Senator Chase Kimball's project becomes a reality!  Two new adirondack chairs, a bench, and a glider bench were purchased, built, and installed by Senator Kimball and friends this week.  Please enjoy these new additions responsibly!

The Presidency, Vice-Presidency, Treasurership, and six at-large Senate seats will be up for grabs in CSA elections that start on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 9:00 pm the candidates will be in the KRLX studios to state their platforms, as well as answer questions from students.

President Tim Singer outlined several important issues the CSA Senate will consider this term including:

• Final comments on the dining contract (1/18 meeting)
• Financial aid and loans (1/18 meeting)
• New residence halls
• Progress on parking
• Independent study credit for club sports

A Special Election will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008, to elect a new State Senator for Minnesota District 25, which includes Northfield. Find out how to register and vote here.
