The CSA Senate may grant one of two forms of recognition to a student organization requesting recognition:

(a) recognition with funding; or

(b) recognition without funding

Either form of recognition confers upon an organization the status of CSA chartered organization.

Charters must include:

1. The purpose of the group
2. The type of programming that will be done
3. A description of officer duties
4. The conditions for disbandment (every group must have at least 10 members).
