Parents Advisory Council
The Parents Advisory Council (PAC) assists the College with communication to the greater parent community; serves as a resource to Carleton students and alumni in areas of mutual interest, including careers, internships and community and political service; and nurtures a tradition of parent giving.

The goals of the Career Center are to assist students in exploring and learning about career options including internships, graduate and professional schools and full-time work opportunities.To help achieve these goals,a network of parents and alumni is critical. Internships
Internships provide students with opportunities to relate their liberal arts studies to specific career fields, to test skills and interests and to apply theory to practical work settings. Internships can be undertaken in any professional field during any academic term and summer and winter breaks. Student interns can be paid or unpaid (decided by the sponsoring organization) and academic credit may be possible. The sponsor of an internship provides the work setting, a supervisor to advise and oversee the student in his or her work. Please check below if you would be willing to:
Fundraising
Gifts from individuals and organizations support operating funds, endowments and capital projects. Alumni and parent volunteers play important roles in securing these gifts which help Carleton offer education of the highest quality.
