Katie BensonKatie Benson

Katie is a sophomore at Carleton and is planning on pursuing a biology major. Her main interests include immunology, biomedicine, and marine biology. She is from Long Lake, Minnesota, a small suburb of Minneapolis. She likes to spend her free time backpacking, going to the zoo, playing intramural sports and reading.

Acadia Davis

Acadia Davis is a sophomore from Burlington, Vermont.  She is interested in pursuing a biology and studio art double major.  When she is not looking at plants or immersed in one of her many artistic endeavors, she loves adventuring in the outdoors and reading.

Micky Einstein

Micky Einstein is a sophomore from Los Angeles, California. He is interested in medicine and pursuing biology as well as neuroscience. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing and listening to music, throwing around a lacrosse ball, and alpine skiing.

 

 

 

 

 

Richard Hwang 

Richard Hwang

Richard Hwang is a senior biology major from Los Angeles, California.  His research interests include neurobiology, microbiology, and molecular biology.  In his free time, Richard manages The Cave--Carleton's student-run coffee house and music venue--where he loves dancing and occasionally performing.

 Kai Knutson

Kai is a junior biology and dance double major from Bloomington, Minnesota. His interests in plants, animals, and fungi have been lifelong but only recently has he become acquainted with the fascinating world of microbes. When not peering through a dissecting microscope, Kai enjoys dancing, growing things and being outside.

 Anu Parameswaran

Anu is a senior biology major and biochemistry concentrator from Rochester, New York.  She plans to pursue medicine, and her research interests include biochemistry and infectious disease. In her free time she likes to run and spend time outside. 

 

 

Musetta Steinbach

Musetta Steinbach

Musetta is a senior Chemistry major and a biochemistry concentrator from Hopkins, MN. Her main research interests include virology and drug development. In her free, time she enjoys gardening, backpacking, and reading.
