Q & A House

Queers & Allies House provides a community-building space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied students of Carleton College. The house serves as an alternative living space for LGBTA students, and offers outreach in the form of social programming to build cohesion in the larger community of the college. These functions are intended to promote understanding of LGBTA issues and to affirm the needs and experiences of LGBTA students at Carleton.

Apply to live in Q&A House in 08-09! Download the form from the right sidebar of this page. The application is due April 11, 2008.

LGBT Housing Statment from The Office of Residential Life

The Office of Residential Life is committed to providing students with a healthy and safe living environment. Residential Life works to foster a living and learning environment that enhances student growth and development through individual and group experiences. Professional and student staff members are trained to work with LGBT issues and concerns and to utilize appropriate campus and community resources.

Residential Life works in conjunction with the LGBT Advisor to offer Queers & Allies House, a special interest learning community open to sophomores, juniors and seniors by application.
