Mission Statement
In an attempt to bring about awareness, Black Student Alliance was founded to promote issues surrounding the black community. The Black Student Alliance, herein referred to as the BSA, seeks to encourage and create black community at Carleton College, while simultaneously respecting the diversity that comprises that community. We will do this by holding regular meetings, programs, and BSA activities. We also commit ourselves to the betterment of the Carleton community as well as our members by increasing awareness about black issues and concerns. BSA seeks members that are open-minded, strong, determined and dedicated to carrying out the above mission goals.
