The Carleton Democrats are leaders in the world of student activism and examples for many other political organizations in peer institutions.
With your help this organization will remain as active and effective as ever. This club has made it presence felt on the state, local and national level. This past year the club had a massive effort in various campaigns all around the state of Minnesota. In November, we had an exemplary GOTV (Get out the vote) effort that help elect David Bly the Representative for Northfield (by the slimmest of margins). Finally, in the spring we petitioned Congress to hold Attorney General Gonzales accountable for his incompetence and cronyism.
