The Melismatics are an alternative/indie/pop punk band that got their start in Minneapolis around the turn of the century. They were signed by Susstones Records, releasing their first album "Postmodern Rock", followed by "Turn It On" and "New Infection". They often played alongside Mark Mallman, lending him their energy and unpredictable behavior. Much like an American version of the Sounds, the Melismatics play catchy, euphoric, pop punk that you won't be able to get out of your head.
