January 20th: Oneohtrix Point Never w/ Pillars & Tongues

At the end of this month, Oneohtrix Point Never will be gracing the Cave's stage. Daniel Lopatin, a Brooklyn-based musician, is behind the drone-heavy, looping, and electronic bleeps and blurps that make up the backbone of much of Oneohtrix Point Never's music.
Opening for Oneohtrix will be Pillars & Tongues, an amazing band out of Chicago that plays "powerful folk abstractions and interwoven, trance-inducing vocal dynamics" (Alarm Magazine). You can download a few tracks from their bandcamp here.
