Lesson taught by Peter Strom,--Don't miss this one
Peter Strom is the founder of Uptown Swing and teaches internationally. He is coming to Carleton to teach two workshops in Weitz Dance Studio 168. Lessons are free to Carls (It will cost $7 for one lesson and $10 for both for non-Carleton students)
No experience or partners necessary, but please be on time!

St. Olaf's Fall Swing Dance Spectacular
St. Olaf's Fall Swing Dance Spectacular will be held in Dittman Studio 1. This is a great way to dance with new people and there will be LIVE music, which is always a lot of fun.
There will be an intro blues lesson from 7-8pm then an intro swing lesson at 8:30. The jazz bands starts playing at 9pm and the dancing continues with late night blues from 12-2am.
We'll be walking over, from Sayles, at two different times. Meet us at 6:30pm to attend the lessons or at 8:30 pm to just attend the dancing portion of the night.

A fun filled weekend of blues dancing. Lessons are offered for beginners. For more info click here.

Late Night Swing at Tapestry Folk Dance Center, Thursdays 10 pm - 2 am. DJed music, lesson at 8 pm. All ages, $4 for students.

Mid-West Lindy Fest, May 4-6 2012. MWLF is a nationally-recognized Lindy Hop and Jazz Dance workshop weekend, packed with workshops taught by the nation's top dancers, plus live band dances and the Amateur Lindy Hop Showdown competition. This event is open to dancers of all levels and attracts lindy hoppers from across the country.
