Student Musical Theater

Carleton's Student Musical Theatre (SMT) is dedicated to producing quality student-directed, student-produced and student-acted musicals at Carleton. We produce two plays a year, winter and spring term. Sometimes, if there is enough interest, we do three! Anyone can propose a show and anyone can audition or participate in any aspect of the production, be it directing, stage managing, lights, sound or set design, costumes, makeup, musical direction, playing in the pit orchestra, vocal coaching, or anything else you can think of! If you feel like it, you can even write a show and perform it.
