Here we go.

Announcements:
-MN Clean Water, Land and Legacy amendment passes!!! Yay.
-Voices from Terra Madre – Tomorrow at Common Time (12-1), Library Athenaeum
"Katie Blanchard and Vera Chang attended the Slow Food International Conference, Terra Madre, which took place last weekend in Torino, Italy. They will talk about their experiences at the conference and excitement about connecting the international movement to Carleton."
-SCA, the Student Conservation Association will be tabling in Sayles on Friday. They’re a great group that will set you up to do conservation across the country. I did one of their trips to Alaska a few summers ago, it was a ball.
-SOPE will be going to the TEAM Minnesota retreat for this Saturday. We’ll probably leave around 9 and be back by 7 or 8ish. It’ll be a fun day of collaboration and discussion with environmental students from other Minnesota schools. Email me, mcgaughr if interested.
-There are a few SOPE positions available and everyone should consider them, regardless of the experience you have. They include, temporary co-president, secretary and treasurer. An official SOPE position is a great way to get more involved and learn some behind-the-scenes stuff. Email me and Elizabeth is you’d be interested in these or have any questions.

Next week, will be our last meeting and we’ll have ice cream for everyone! We'll also be talking about what we've accomplished this term and what we hope to get done over the winter. Everyone should come!

Thanks guys,
~Ray and Elizabeth
