Carolyn knew the Wellstones personally and was a dedicated disciple of Paul's while he was here at Carleton. She was a community organizer during Wellstone's time and can help put us in touch with such activities and show us how community organization really works. She will be able to help guide us in how best to honor the Wellstones and connect us with other people who were very close to them and could come to campus. As Carleton's chaplain she has experience with religiously motivated activist groups and can help us and other students connect their spirituality with their practical lives. She will help us recognize the religious roots of activism and connect us with religious activist organizations.
