The purpose of Students for New Economics is to present, discuss and debate about an economy and society that gives priority to supporting human well-being and Earth’s natural systems, moving beyond the principles of conventional economics and discussing new and alternative economic approaches to a global society. Our premise is that a fair and sustainable economy is possible and that ways must be found to realize it.
