Program and Community Assistant
The Program and Community Assistants (PACAs) work in the SLAI office, help run large scale events, and manage campus life aspects of the pre-college programs by running activities, living on residential floors with students, and keeping students safe. The PACA position is full time, and generally runs from mid June to the end of July.

Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistants (TAs) assist faculty in the classroom during our pre-college programs. Each TA works for a specific program, and often (though not always) the program aligns with the TA’s major or academic interests. TAs work 40 hours per week, with employment dates generally spanning the month of July.
If you like tutoring, educational studies, working with high schoolers, or guided research, this may be the position for you! To find out what programs need TAs, visit our 2024 programs page.
