Biology: Advanced Topics - BIOL.1254
About the Workshop
The focus of the 2018 AP® Biology Teachers’ Advanced Topics workshop will be to improve our teaching and thus, our students’ learning. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from and alongside others who share your passion for AP® Bio! We’ll revisit the Curriculum Framework, work to integrate the Science Practices into our learning activities and labs, and consider the AP® Biology Exam through multiple lenses. We’ll identify the strengths and weaknesses of our individual courses, then explore, adapt, and integrate the wealth of resources available to us to make the improvements that will guide our students to success. Teachers will leave the workshop with classroom-ready materials and an invaluable network of AP® Biology colleagues.
