Managing Categories:

About Categories

Categories are useful labels that you can assign to news / blog posts, events, and other content types.

You can think of categories as topics. If you have a recipe blog, for example, you might have these categories: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Meat, Vegetarian, and Vegan. A recipe for your famous Vegetarian Lasagna would be categorized under "Lunch", "Dinner", and "Vegetarian", since the recipe falls under those broad topics.

Categories provide a great way for users to navigate your Blog / Publication or Events calendar. By clicking on a category link, they can see all articles or events related to that topic. By assigning your posts or events to categories, you're providing your users with a better experience.
