Pages Dashboard Elements
-
Page Listing
Displays all the pages on your site. Page names are indented according to their page hierarchy.
-
Search
Use the search box to find a page in your site (this is useful if you have a very large site). Search for pages by ID number, name, keyword, description, content, or author.
-
Add Page
Add a page to your site by clicking the Add Page button. This will take you to the page editing view. (Note: you can also add a page in a specific location within your site structure by clicking the "Add Child" link beside the name of the page under which you'd like to place the new page.)
-
Current Items
The total number of live pages on your site.
Deleted Items
The number of recently deleted pages (if any) on your site. If there are deleted pages, clicking the Deleted Items link will display all recently deleted pages.
You can un-delete pages for up to 14 days by restoring the page.
Pending Items
The number of pending pages (if any) on your site. If there are pending pages, clicking the Pending Items link will display all pending pages. (Pending pages are pages that do not show up on the live site.)
-
View
TreeTree view displays your pages as they appear in the navigation menu on your site. The home page is the first page, and all other pages are descendents (sub-pages) of the home page.
List
List view lists your pages in a sortable list format. No page hierarchy is displayed. You can sort pages by ID, name, or when it was last modified. List view is helpful if you need to find a page, but don't want to search for it by digging around in Tree View.
-
Sort these items / Sort children
The "Sort these items" link allows you to sort the pages on your site. You can also sort pages by using the "Sort children" link below the page name on the page listing.
-
Show/hide children
If there is a blue arrow next to the page name, this page has children beneath it. Clicking the blue arrow next to the page name shows and hides the child pages.
