Scoville, the new home of Carleton Admissions!

Welcome to our new home!

We in the Carleton Admissions office are thrilled to share that we have moved buildings. Johnson House, which was our home for many years, served us well but we are so excited to move into the historical Scoville Memorial Library. Originally built in 1896, Scoville originally served as Carleton’s first library and since served many purposes, including housing the Sociology/Anthropology and Cinema and Media Studies departments, the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC), and Office of Intercultural and International Life (OIIL).

Our new Admissions digs are a lot to be proud of, but some of the best features include the renovated Reading Room which used to be the original library book-keeping space and the gorgeous, refurbished woodworking which spans the entirety of our office (make sure to check out those pictures to the right!). We’re also pretty excited that Student Financial Services and Admissions are finally under the same roof! SFS is a short walk down the stairs next to the reception desk and trust us—they are equally as excited to share the same four walls as Admissions.

We could go on and on, but don’t take our word for it—come see for yourself. We can’t wait to welcome you.

See you soon,

Carleton Admissions
