Term Reflections

I survived my first term as a college student! I’m sorry to say that the term is coming to a close, and while I couldn’t be more excited to go home and see friends and family, I’ll miss Carleton and the people I’ve met here over the last few months.

I’ve progressed a lot and have made various memorable experiences during this short 10 week time period. From learning economics to meeting people from all around the world, from experiencing living on my own to understanding how to best utilize my study time/resources around me, and from learning that people play soccer in domes here to experiencing falling snow for the first time, I can only look back upon the term fondly.

I truly believe that I’ve joined a special community here at Carleton, and I can’t wait to take more classes, meet more interesting people, and see more snow.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Until 2018,

Alvin is a west coast kid at heart (coming from San Jose, California), but is excited to start many adventures here in Minnesota. He plays for the soccer team here at Carleton and loves exercise. If he’s not on the soccer field, in the gym, or out on a bike ride during his free time, he can be found in one of the lounges playing Exploding Kittens, or in the music building playing piano. He is a potential economics major with an interest in computer science and mathematics.
