Most families have concerns about the cost of college. The financial aid program at Carleton is designed to make Carleton affordable for all of our students, whether their families have significant, moderate, or minimal need. We guarantee to meet 100% of a family's demonstrated need, and we'll work with families each year to ensure that the financial aid package continues to reflect their need.
How do we make it possible? In addition to our generous grants, we also have a vibrant student work program on campus, and we consider modest loans to be a smart way for students to invest in their future. Applying for financial aid is straightforward.
This year, we're pleased to announce the Fritch Endowed Scholars program, an additional opportunity for middle-income students to receive grant aid for their Carleton education. The Fritch Scholars program is designed to assist students from low- and middle-income families, from small towns and cities away from major metropolitan areas. To be considered, applicants should submit this simple form, in addition to the general application for admission and the financial aid documents.
