Giving Tuesday

Earlier this month, my colleague Adam and I headed to NYC to help out some of our Alumni Admissions Reps with an interview weekend.  A group of about 15 Carleton representatives gathered to interview prospective students at the law offices of Foley & Lardner, where Selig Sacks (P'11 and partner at Foley) graciously hosted us.  We were pretty excited to hear from Selig about Giving Tuesday, an opportunity to turn our focus from Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday and towards other ways that we can impact our community besides just stimulating the economy.

Giving Tuesday is a chance for everyone and anyone to share their time, enthusiasm, and resources with the programs that they value.  It's "a national celebration of our great tradition of generosity." They provide a lot of ideas for ways that everyone can get involved, from corporation CEOs to individuals and families.

Ready to get involved?
