Mary Ostergren ’83

Nordic Ski, Cross-Country, and Track & Field

Four year Member of Carleton Nordic Ski club and member of cross country and track and field teams.

One of only two Carleton Winter Olympians, Ostergren represented the U.S. in biathlon at two consecutive Olympics.

Placed second among Americans and 25^th overall in the biathlon at the 1992 games in Albertville, France.

Competed again at the 1994 games in Lillehammer, Norway.  1990 U.S. women’s champion in 7.5K biathlon event.

In 1991 had three top 20 finishes in World Cup biathlon competition.
