LA Club Visits Jet Propulsion Lab

On Saturday, May 8, 2010 LA Carls visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.  The event was hosted by three distinguished Carleton alums who work at the JPL: Dr. Joy Crisp '79, Dr. Dayton Jones '74, and Dr.  Larry Sparks '74.

Dayton is a radio astronomer, Joy is a geologist who has worked on the Mars rover, and Larry is a plasma physicist.  They talked about their work and Joy showed some Mars rover hardware.
