Join Carleton alumni, students, parents, and friends at the Carleton Business Network’s upcoming event. Pam Knous ’76 went from Carleton to the University of Arizona, where she received a BS in business administration and a BA in mathematics, Phi Beta Kappa. She became a partner in the Los Angeles office of the international accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick. She then served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of The Vons Companies, which, prior to merging with Safeway, was the ninth largest supermarket chain in the United States. Pam then became executive vice president and chief financial officer for SUPERVALU, one of the largest companies in the U.S. grocery channel with estimated annual sales of $40 billion. At SUPERVALU, Pam was responsible for finance, information technology, investor relations and BRISTOL FARMS®.

Come hear Pam talk about Carleton, her exciting path from Carleton to SUPERVALU, and her decision to explore new challenges.  This event is a great opportunity to hear from an outstanding member of the Carleton business community and connect with Carleton alumni, students, parents, and friends who have an interest in business and marketing. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free!
