The Out after Carleton Leadership Committee welcomes your participation in a conversation with OAC alumni and Kaaren Williamsen, Director of Carleton’s Gender and Sexuality Center, about the MN Marriage Amendment. The event will be held at the Human Rights Campaign offices in Washington, DC.

Alex Brewer ’12, who works at HRC and partnered with MN United to help defeat the amendment last fall, will share this experience and give a tour of the Human Rights Campaign headquarters. Kaaren will provide background on how discussions unfolded at Carleton, and the group will engage in a conversation moderated by Larnzell Martin ’72 about the College's decision to remain neutral in the political battle around this issue.
