MEA BREAK FAMILY EVENT

Eastman Nature Center, 13351 Elm Creek Road, Dayton

Spend an afternoon exploring the Eastman Nature Center at Elm Creek Park Reserve. We'll start with a picnic lunch (provided) and then have family fun with professional naturalists. See, learn about, and touch a variety of native turtles, frogs, salamanders and snakes. From a boardwalk, use a net and bowl to catch weird and wonderful bugs and larva in the pond. Enjoy the fall colors on a guided hike in a sugar maple forest. Dress to be outdoors.
Cost: $10 per person includes lunch. To make your reservations contact the Alumni Affairs Office at 507-222-5842 or alumni-office@carleton.edu by Monday, October 12. All reservations need to be paid in advance by credit card.
