Calling all Twin Cities Carls! Did you know that Minneapolis was recently named the #1 bike-friendliest city in the country by Bicycling Magazine? Or how about the fact that, with new beer-friendly laws coming into effect, Minnesota is one of the nation’s fastest growing craft-brew markets?

We think that’s cause for celebration! Join hosts Masha Finn ’09 and Emily Muirhead McAdam ’08 for a Twin Cities Brewery Bike Tour.

Our route starts in Northeast Minneapolis at one of the city’s newest breweries and tap rooms. We’ll then wind through the city, ending up in Uptown at the first sake brewery in the world outside of Japan!  Here are the stops:

  • Indeed Brewing (711 15th Ave. NE): 1-1:45 p.m.
  • 612 Brew (945 Broadway St. NE #188): 2-2:45 p.m.
  • Dangerous Man Brewing (1300 2nd St. NE): 3-3:45 p.m.
  • Fulton Brewery (414 6th Ave. N): 4-4:45 p.m.
  • moto-i sake brewery & izakaya (2940 Lyndale Ave. S): 5 p.m. -onward

And what Saturday afternoon brewery bike tour is complete without a little food involved? Indeed Brewing, 612 Brew, and Fulton Brewery all feature local food trucks on Saturdays. Additionally, Dangerous Man allows you to bring in any outside food of your choosing. To cap things off, enjoy the wide selection of food at  moto-I sake brewery & izakaya’s full-service restaurant.

Friends and family are welcome, but please note that all participants must be 21 years of age to participate in the brewery bike tour. Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 10 on Facebook or to either Masha (masha.finn@gmail.com) or Emily (emily.m.mcadam@gmail.com).
