Annual Cambridge Summer Program Get-Together

When: Thursday, June 19, 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: The White Horse, 16 Newburgh Street, London W1F 7RY

We are pleased to announce the Annual Get-Together with Carleton students participating in the 2014 Summer Cambridge Program. This is a chance to mix and mingle with other Carleton alumni in London whilst interacting with current Carleton students eager to discover the joys and pitfalls of living overseas. 

Thanks to the generosity of Richard Allen Greene '91 and Geoffrey Yu '06, the Carleton students will have a "field trip" to CNN and UBS in London, getting an inside look into the operations of these two organizations. Afterwards, Carleton Associate Professor of Economics Nathan Grawe and the students will adjourn to the pub "The White Horse" and are hopeful of meeting Carleton alumni to chat about our careers and experiences, obtain advice on their career aspirations and find out what it takes to find international work. Previous student/London alumni evenings have been enjoyable for all and this event should be more of the same.

Please RSVP to Derek Wallace '92 with your attendance confirmation if you can. Even if you do not RSVP you are still welcome to come! The nearest Tube is Oxford Circus, though Piccadilly Circus is approximately 10-15 minute walk.
