Golden Gate Park - Marx Meadows

For the second year in a row, Carleton's Bay Area alumni will descend upon Golden Gate Park for a day of multi-generational debauchery and merriment.

First: Purchase a commemorative t-shirt by Sunday, May 13; click HERE to purchase. T-shirt sales will cover the cost of park reservation fees and refreshments.

Second: Invite other alums! Last year, we had representation from the Class of 1967 all the way through the Class of 2017. Can we beat it this year?

Finally: Come to Marx Meadow in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, June 2nd between 10 am - 6 pm. We'll provide baseball equipment, tunes, and sub-par beer that will remind you of college. You provide the unbridled joy of Carleton and its extended community.

Please Bring: We encourage you to bring old Rotblatt shirts or other Carleton swag, your favorite refreshment, lawn games, blankets to chill on, and picnic food.

Cost: $20 for a t-shirt. Proceeds will cover park reservation fees and communal beer.

Please RSVP by Friday, June 1 at noon by clicking HERE and completing the form below to let us know you will be coming. As noted above, please buy your Rotblatt shirt online by May 13. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at the event, however we encourage you to buy your own by May 13.

Directions: Google Maps can be used for directions. We will be on the north-eastern side of Marx Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Our location is tucked back into the Meadow, not fully visible from John F. Kennedy Drive (picnic tables #5 and #6).
