Join Executive Director of Underscore Theatre Company Laura Stratford '09 for the world-premiere of Pr0ne: A Casting Couch Musical Comedy

Written by Carleton alumni Laura Stratford '09, Alex Higgin-Houser '10, David Kornfeld '11, and Brendan Siegfried '09, the darkly comedic Pr0ne follows Jessica Harrison, a young woman struggling to find her place in the film industry, and her family, as the country discovers her secret: that she is the unnamed, possibly exploited young woman in an adult “casting couch” video at the heart of a highly-publicized legal battle. As Jessie struggles to decide how to testify, her brother and his ridiculous college roommate embark on a quest to clear her name and her parents try to come to grips with the idea of their little girl in porn. Pr0ne is equal parts raucous, poignant, and provocative.

Immediately following the show, Carleton alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the writers and actors of Pr0ne for a talkback to discuss the process of writing and creating a world-premiere musical on a controversial topic, and their thoughts and feelings on pornography and portraying this world.
