In partnership with Boswell Book Company, join us for an evening with Carleton College Lloyd P. Johnson-Norwest Professor of English and the Liberal Arts Gregory Blake Smith, who will talk about his newly released, richly layered novel of love, ambition, and duplicity, set against the storied seascape of Newport, Rhode Island with writer Jane Hamilton '79, P'10.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., we will host an onsite reception (light snacks and beverages) for Carleton friends. The formal program will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public. Feel free to come early to browse the extensive selection at this wonderful independent bookstore.

Directions: Google Maps can be used for directions. Boswell Book Company is located on Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's east side. From the north or south, take I-43 to the Locust St exit and take Locust to Downer Ave. From the west, take I-94 to N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, and Lincoln Memorial to Downer Ave. There is street parking, or a parking garage available across from the bookstore. The following bus routes take you right there or within very close walking distance: Gold Line, Green Line, 21.
