September 10 - Greg Plotnikoff ’83 - Integrative Medicine
Greg is the medical director of Abbott Northwestern’s Institute for Health and Healing, “the nation's largest combined inpatient and outpatient integrative medicine program.” Integrative medicine blends conventional medicine with a variety of healing philosophies and therapies. Greg was the first U.S. physician invited to Japan to apprentice in traditional herbal medicine. As an associate professor at Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, he performed research and taught classes in traditional medicine and medical ethics. Greg has received international awards for medical research and medical education.
