Tree Talk and Winter Walk

Please join Carleton alums, parents, friends, and families for Tree Talk Winter Walk. Tree Talk Winter Walk is a perfect time to explore the beauty and benefits of native trees and shrubs. Get tips on landscape design and tree maintenance and learn about native species with walks and talks led by local tree experts; from 10 a.m. to 2 pm.
On exhibit: Visit the exhibit "Anticipation: Seeds and Pods", with sculptures by T.J. Mabrey and paintings by Eliza K. Thomas; in the McDermott Learning Center. Meet the artist T.J. Mabrey and learn about her methods and inspiration for nature inspired sculptures.
Let’s meet at the Wildflower Café at 10:15 a.m. and join a tour. We can re-convene at 12:15 p.m. at the Wildflower Café for lunch at your own expense and do more touring afterwards. Menu available on-line at http://www.circleccatering.com/menus/wildflower_cafe_menu.pdf
