Renowned for its stunning natural beauty and its dynamic, volatile mix of cultures, California is the wealthiest, most populous and most geographically diverse state in the country and a testing ground for new lifestyles and new technologies. Visions of California is an interdisciplinary "on-the-road" seminar that immerses students in the literature, art, history, ecology and cultural paradoxes of the Golden State. .
