Annual Summer Send-Off

(just inside of Columbus Circle)

Please join hosts Jonas Cartano '01 and Jhernie Evangelista '15 to welcome the incoming Class of 2021 and their parents, and take advantage of the best opportunity we have all year for the entire New York community to get together. Wear your Carleton College gear for easier identification.

• New students and families - Come have some fun Carleton -style before you head out to Minnesota!
• Returning students, alumni, and parents - we invite you to welcome the new students and their families to Carleton.
• Prospective students and parents - Come find out what Carleton is all about!

What to Bring: Members of the incoming Class of 2021 and family members do not need to bring anything. Prospective students and families, you're off the hook too. Current students, alumni, and families, please bring some food to share. The hosts will provide beverages and paper products.

• Last name A-K: desserts (cookies, bars, ice cream, etc.)
• Last name L-R: entrees (sandwiches, salads, pasta salads, etc.)
• Last name S-Z: snacks (chips, crackers, pretzels, etc.)

Directions: Please use this Google Map to find where we'll be set up at the park or consult the image below. The purple pin indicates our gathering site. Look for balloons or Carleton signs.

Rain Location: In the case of uncooperative weather, the Send-Off will be moved to The David Rubenstein Atrium, on Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Streets (the yellow pin on the map). It will still be potluck.
