Please join Carleton alumni, parents, students, and friends for a performance of The Christmas Revels: An Appalachian Christmas Celebration. During intermission, join Debby and all of the other Carls for complimentary beverages and dessert near the Christmas tree on the stage at the west end of the ballroom. Feel free to show-off your favorite Carleton shirt and/or hat!

The show offers early American and Appalachian music, dance and cultural traditions celebrating the shortest day of the year. Expect beautiful early American songs and carols, toe-tapping tunes, and high-energy clogging and square dancing to chase the winter darkness away. Audiences will enjoy glorious singing from an auditioned chorus of 70 adults and children, as well as superb local actors and musicians. Guest artist Suzannah Park, from North Carolina, has traveled the world with well-known choral groups, and has her roots deep in Appalachian music and dance traditions. As always, audience members will have a chance to sing along in this family-friendly show.
