The Carleton in the Capital Club invites you to join

Lauren Soth, Professor of Art History Emeritus, for a talk on Vincent Van Gogh and the exhibition Van Gogh: Repetitions

Join Carleton alumni, parents and friends for a lecture by Carleton Professor of Art History Emeritus Lauren Soth. Professor Soth will speak on the art of Van Gogh. For those interested, after the lecture we will travel to the Phillips Collection to visit the Van Gogh exhibit for a 3 p.m. entrance.   

When: Saturday, November 9, 2013, 1 p.m. 

Where: Cleveland Park Library, 3310 Connecticut Ave NW  Washington, DC 20008

Cost: If you attend the lecture only, there is no cost. If you would also like to visit the exhbition, tickets are $12 each. Museum members will be admitted free of charge. Jessica Goad '07 will share information about purchasing tickets after you RSVP. Tickets are limited to the first 20 participants.

Lauren Soth taught art history at Carleton for 40 years (1964 to 2004), including seminars on Van Gogh. He has published several articles on the artist. He will be accompanied by his wife, Nancy, a retired administrator of Carleton off-campus programs.
