The Carleton College 16th Annual Nationwide Trivia Challenge
Saturday, January 30, 2016

Please join Carleton alumni, parents, and friends in your area for live Nationwide Trivia! For those of you who are new to
this fun and challenging event, here's how it works: Carls across the country compete by answering trivia questions via
satellite network. Carls from participating clubs (listed below) will face off to play Countdown Trivia at the same time, and
scores are tabulated after each round to declare an eventual winner!

Official competition starts at 2 p.m. Pacific, 3 p.m. Mountain, 4 p.m. Central, and 5 p.m. Eastern. Join us half an hour early
(times listed below) to get organized and take part in an optional warm-up round of trivia. Each club will report their scores
throughout the competition so you will know where your club ranks. We'll have two divisions for the competition again this
year: Division I will be made up of our larger clubs, which usually have multiple teams playing at their location and are
able to pick the highest score among them. Division III will be our smaller clubs with only one or two teams competing. At
the end of the day we will declare a winner in each division. In addition, we'll send out the full list of final scores because
we know many of you will still want to see where your club ranked among all of the others. In 2015, Chicago took home
the top prize in Division I, and Philadelphia led the pack for Division III. Who will it be this year?

The RSVP date for all clubs is January 28. If you plan to attend or need directions, please contact the host for your club
listed below. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 800-729-2586 or
alumni-office@carleton.edu.
