Planning for life after Carleton is a central component of Carleton's current strategic plan. How is the Career Center helping Carleton live up to the promise of "preparing students more robustly for fulfilling post-graduation lives and careers?" Kimberly Betz '91, Director of the Career Center, will discuss how the Career Center has become an integral part of the College, working with students across a four-year developmental arc, facilitating and encouraging internships and externships, and enabling students to understand and articulate their skills. Alumni and parent engagement is a critical part of the Career Center's work with students, and you'll learn how Carleton is building a network of alumni and parent career volunteers - and how you can get involved!
