Pasts and Futures of Student Life in Higher Education
with Professor George Shuffelton

  5:30 p.m.

Mt. Evans Conference Room
2nd Floor of the Tabor Center
1200 17th St.
Denver, CO 80202

Please join us for a discussion with George Shuffelton, Professor of English. George has also just completed a 4-year term as Associate Dean of the College. Drawing from that experience and his current research on student life and alumni friendships at medieval universities, he will discuss the pasts and futures of higher education. Come hear about the similarities and ask questions about what we could see in the future on College Campuses. Refreshments will be provided.

Cost: None.

RSVP by Friday, November 10 by completing the form at the bottom of the page HERE.

Directions: The Tabor Center is located on 17th Street between Larimer and Lawrence Streets. There is a parking garage in the building, with entrances off Larimer and Lawrence. If parking in the building, use the elevators for the office tower (not 16th Street Mall). There is a $10 fee after 4:00 pm.

If taking Light Rail, get off at either Union Station (A, B, C, E, W lines) or 16th and California (D, F, H lines). At either stop, take the free 16th Street Mall Shuttle to 16th and Lawrence. Enter the Tabor Center through the doors to the right of The Mellow Mushroom. Take the escalator up, turn left, then turn right before the entrance to University of the Rockies. Proceed down the steps into the office tower and take the elevators on the right to the second floor.

Please note that the Tabor Center lobby is under construction. There are two entrances on 17th, both of which will wind around to the elevators.
