Join us to hear Sarah Cox Currier '80 and her daughter Athena share about their experiences in the world of publishing and book designing. Sarah grew up in Northfield, went to Carleton, and later returned to raise a family there. Though she studied German Literature at Carleton, she went on to become an elementary school teacher, as her love is working with children. She spent lazy childhoods playing in Central Park, swimming at the Northfield Swimming Pool and bicycling downtown. Sarah combined childhood memories with her imagination and wrote the children’s book Elephants, Aunts and the Moon. Her daughter Athena, now a book designer, surprised her by adding her own art to the manuscript and having the book published.

No RSVP necessary to attend! And save the date for the July Breakfast Club on July 12th.
