Join Bay Area alumni in welcoming incoming students and their parents to the Carleton community. The event will kick off with a talk from Dr. Daniel Hernandez, Associate Professor of Biology, on "Managing the Impact of Nitrogen Pollution on Endangered Species and Ecosystems." The lecture will highlight Dan's work in California and how student engagement in his research has furthered his work in this area.

Following the talk, there will be a Q & A panel composed of current students and recent graduates. Entering students, prospective students, their parents, and alumni will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear more about what's happening at Carleton and in Northfield.

Items to Bring: A salad, side-dish, or snack to share. Students have the additional option of bringing non-alcoholic beverages to share.

Cost: None
