Dennis Cass ’90 is an idiot. A journalist for ten years for publications such as the New York Times magazine, Slate, and Mother Jones, he thought he was smart enough to write the authoritative text on modern neuroscience. He was not. But he did write HEAD CASE: How I Almost Lost My Mind Trying to Understand My Brain, a funny, informative, dark, slightly sad and highly accessible book that combines popular science, memoir and narrative journalism. Both Cass and his brain will be on hand to talk about brain science, consciousness, and the neurobiology of Ocean’s 13. You can also visit him on the web at www.denniscass.com
