Join Sara LeHoullier '03 for a journey to Madagascar! Sara is a co-founder and Director of Development of a nonprofit organization called Spotlight Madagascar. After graduating from Carleton, she braved the real world for two years before deciding to join the Peace Corps, and ended up teaching English in Madagascar, the world's fourth largest island and one of its poorest countries. She looks forward to moving back to establish the first English Community Cultural Center in Tamatave, the second largest city and largest port in the country. Sara will share a series of short films documenting her most recent trip to Madagascar, where she gathered footage of the people and community of Tamatave.

Following the film presentation, there will be an informal discussion about Sara's experiences in Madagascar, both as a Peace Corps Volunteer and as a nonprofit director.
