at

Please join us!  Professor Lauren Soth will speak on the Gauguin exhibition currently on display at the National Gallery of Art. After the lecture (and depending upon the crowd), Professor Soth will be available for questions and further discussion following the presentation.  The talk will take place in the West Building Lecture Hall, on the ground floor of the Gallery.  The Seventh Street and the Constitution Avenue entrances are the closest.

Lauren Soth taught art history at Carleton for 40 years, including a seminar on Gauguin.  He earned his Ph.D. from New York University.  His lectures receive rave reviews from Carls around the country (and even a few in Northfield).  He will be accompanied by his wife, Nancy.
