The New York Carleton Club invites you to

A Performance of Sylvia by the American Ballet Theatre

Metropolitan Opera House

Saturday, May 14, 2016

Meet by the fountain at 1:30 p.m.

Performance begins at 2:00 p.m.

*Depending on interest the day-of, we might also gather for food and drinks post-performance.

Please join Zoe Andrada '04 and Carleton alumni at Lincoln Center for the American Ballet Theatre's production of Sylvia.

Sylvia is "A ravishing fantasy set amid verdant forests and majestic temples, Ashton’s mythological love story unites the huntress Sylvia and a lovelorn shepherd with the divine intervention of the deity Eros. At its heart, Sylvia boasts an incomparable role for its heroine showcasing her dramatic range and astonishing technique, performed against a lushly romantic, rococo setting to a splendid score by Léo Delibes."--ABT's website.

Zoe is looking forward to seeing Polina Semionova dance the lead role. If you are too, be sure to purchase your ticket!

We have secured 15 tickets in the balcony section.  Tickets are $36 each.  If/when the 15 tickets have been claimed, we will begin a waiting list. Those registered will be contacted with additional information closer to the performance.

RSVP here.  For additional information about ABT and Sylvia, please visit the ABT website.
