New York Club Hands on New York Day
Join the New York Carleton Club
for HANDS ON NEW YORK DAY
Saturday, April 12, 2008—9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Once again this year, the New York Carleton Club is coordinating with New York Cares on Hands On New York Day, a twice-yearly community service project to revitalize the city's parks and community spaces. The volunteers who participated last year had a great time -- we hope you'll join us this year! The deadline for signing up is FRIDAY, APRIL 6.
To register:
1. Go to http://www.nycares.org/(click on “Hands On New York Day”)
2. Review the Waiver Agreement and click on “I agree”
3. Click on "Join an Existing Team"
4. Click on “Join a Team” and search on the list of existing teams for “Carleton Club New York” and click on our team name
5. Fill out the form and follow the instructions provided.
Our team will be painting in:
Sunset Park
41st Street to 44th Street and 5th
(cross streets - 7th Ave. & 44th St.)
Brooklyn
Directions: Take the R to 45th St. Walk up the hill on 45th and 5th Ave. Turn left and walk to 44th. Visit http://www.hopstop.com/ for detailed subway directions. Registration will take place by the parkhouse.
