Join Carleton alums, parents and friends, and Farm Forager David Rand (husband of Sarah Varick Rand '06) for a tour of Chicago's only year-round farmer's market. Learn about sustainable agriculture and how Green City Market is working to get quality food into the hands of consumers. There will be opportunities to buy delicious cheeses, ice cream, meat, vegetables, and fruits. After the tour there will be a chef demonstration with Tony Galzin, the chef at mk.
We will meet at the Green City Market information booth. Children are welcome. Please bring cash to buy delicious local goodies!
Museum admission is free. Please RSVP to Sarah Varick Rand ’06.
